Hello! From my desk here at ARC I can see a black sky and an incandescent tree – love it when the leaves turn. Makes me go all poetic, like. So what’s in store for November?!

Saturday 3 November – come and check out Simon Mole’s show Indiana Jones and the Extra Chair, showing at Live Theatre as part of Juice Festival. Your ticket includes Simon’s show, site-specific performances by young writers and a buffet meal – take the whole family!

Saturday 17 November – we’re excited to bring another guest headliner to Jibba Jabba, this time the funny, dark, magical, surreal Dominic Berry all the way from Manchester. Don’t miss him, he’s excellent!

Sunday 18 November – come along for your monthly freebie, new poetry courtesy of Scratch Tyne, now with added singer-songwriters! Bring your own booze, kick back on the sofas and wind the weekend down.

Thursday 29 NovemberTAKE..New Voices Showcase, featuring six performance poets who have been mentored to put together their first ‘professional’ set. It’s the cutting edge!

See ya! x
