Hello all.
I’ll cut to the quick: October’s 451 R.O.C.K.E.D! The open-mic poets raised the bar even further for quality at 451 and the feature poets thrilled and entertained with sets packed with poetic wisdom. It was a wonderful start to the post summer season. Next month, on Monday 12 December, we’ve got excessively expressive Paul Lyalls and Antipodes-touring UK Slam Champ Hollie McNish. This gig will also rock!
Apples and Snakes National youth slam project Shake the Dust is well underway now with an Open INSET for teachers, educators and youth workers booked in at The Nuffield Theatre for Friday 2 December from 4.30 to 6.30pm. There are still places available on the workshop, so if you are already working with young people and are interested in working with them with poetry, have a look at the website here. And for general information about Shake the Dust check out the website: www.shakethedust.co.uk.
Cheers,
Pete
